Conceptual design of Flow Converter is
similar to the wind rotors of
4 Power Plant: The design allows a direct constructional integration of the
generator into the rotating system of the Flow
Converter. – The rotor is already the generator!
This results in a total encapsulation against climate and seawater impact.
The generator is specifically developed
for slow running energy converters. The design provides high efficiency in
conjunction with compact dimensions and high overload capacity. Magnetic
bearings and the brushless design is free of
maintenance.
